Buy Wine For Charity
Somerset Beverages have launched a new wine range which is not only aimed at serving the wine lover's industry, but also the broader community.
The new Lord Somerset Wine range, which is the brain child of Boetie Rietoff and winemaker, Kobus Rosouw, has been launched. The main initiative behind this awesome range of wines is to donate R 3.00 per case sold, to a charity organisation of their choice.
Somerset Beverages launched the The Lord Somerset wines a month ago and already 1000 cases have been sold. The 1st cheque of R5000 was given away to the Association of Persons with Disabilities (APD).
Somerset Beverages will be donating a cheque to a different charity organisation every month. "We need to play a part in uplifting and helping in order to put something back in the community", said Rietoff.
The range consists of 6 different wines, namely 2008 Shiraz, 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2010 Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon, 2010 Soft Smooth Red, 2011 Sauvignon Blanc and 2011 Chenin Blanc.
The Lord Somerset wine range can be bought at a very reasonable price at Somerset Wines Direct at Somerset Business Park, Somerset West and other retail stores.
