Mooiuitsig
Situated in Bonnievale, in the fertile Breede River Valley, Mooiuitsig Wineries are proud to be the largest wholesale alcoholic beverage company that is family-owned since its inception.
Our production is undertaken in cellars located on the farm Mooiuitsig. Distribution across South Africa is undertaken via depots located at Misgund in the Langkloof and Aliwal North. To further bolster our distribution network, Mooiuitsig owns and operates several liquor stores in the Western and Eastern Cape.
We produce a wide range of quality wines and were recently awarded the national gold award by the Muscadel Association for our outstanding Oude Rust Rooi Muskadel. This was one of the only four golden awards in this category.
In addition, Mooiuitsig produces Hanepoot, Port, Sherry and a variety of table wines. Two of our more popular products are the 500ml "Potjie" and "Oulap" which are known and enjoyed across South Africa.
In addition to our wine range, Mooiuitsig also distributes various spirits. We were awarded first prize by the Wine of the Month Club for our 2003 Mooiuitsig Brandy.
